Noticed a chipping sparrow in the backyard and then a larger bird near it. Took this picture as I noticed the chipping sparrow feed what was a juvenile bird (as it kept opening its mouth and flapping its wings).Later read that it was a juvenile cowbird and they frequently lay their eggs in other bird nests. Guess one did in a chipping sparrows nest and so the juvenile cowbird thought that the sparrow was mom!
