I've never seen the famous tunnel view in Yosemite valley photographed under pure moonlight. So my idea was to get here as the moon was setting to see this. When we got there we couldn't believe our eyes! There was some nice low lying fog and ALL the iconic mountains in the valley were beautifully dusted with snow. The skies were clear and stars were shining bright. We kept taking shots and jumping in and out of my car with the heater on full blast. This was a tricky shot to take as, right after this shot, the moon had gone down casting a shadow across Bridalveil falls.
