My hands were full of groceries as I walked into my yard when a dark form exploded infront of me and ran a short distance away. I quickly tossed the groceries inside and grabbed my camera and headed back out. The big bear hadn't gone far and was pawing through the freshly fallen snow and didn't seem too interested in paying much attention to me. Then he looked up and I found myself looking into the eyes of the most ancient bear I had ever seen. His face was like leatherlike and covered in scars. As I looked into his eyes I found myself wanting to know to stories of his life.
