On Oct 5th Magnetic fields near sunspot AR1582 slowly erupted sparking a B7-class solar flare on the sun. The evening of Oct 7, 2012 proved to be a unreal night for photographing the Aurora Borealis. The impact of this energy with earths magnetosphere created Aurora activity that lasted almost 3 days!
