- A group of devotees performs sacred ritual and celebrating Chinese gods during Phuket Vegetarian Festival. Million of fire crackers were ignited each year during the celebration. It is annual event held during the ninth lunar month of the Chinese calendar. Local residents of Chinese ancestry strictly observe a 10-day vegetarian diet for spiritual cleansing and merit-making. The photo was taken at Phuket, Thailand October 2011.

- This shy lady pretended not to be captured by me. While I was taking photo´s from other people, she peeked constantly over and around her cover (a typically Vietnamees hat). I captured her at that exact moment when she realised I was focussing my lens on her. I showed her the photo afterwards and she couldn't stop gigling...
