- I ventured to Mendenhall Lake and Glacier on many occasions during my visits to Juneau, always admiring the scene. But, on this morning I arrived just in time to capture Mother Nature's most amazing show: the combination of dark mountain ridgelines, icebergs and water movement accentuated by the misty morning clouds and mirror-like water made for a truly striking image. I stood in awe from the wonder.
