These dogs are relating to each other and not regarding the photographer at all. The photographer must be sitting on the ground looking up adoringly at these two beautiful animals. And in the center of the frame is this bright pink tongue and open mouth. At first you think that this dog is ready to snap at the other dog's face. But when you look at the second dog's expression, you realize that its comfortable, happy, doesn't have its mouth open, and that they're playing. They're just two beautiful dog heads in front of a magnificent sky. It makes you look at dogs and their beauty, how they relate to each other, and how they can exclude humans and have their own world. There's a lovely, sculptural quality.
