They’re those corners of the world that you just can’t get out of your mind. Places so special, or just plain weird, that they take on their own personalities. National Geographic scoured the United States to include just such places in its ZipUSA series.
This month visit Bob Dylan’s roots in Hibbing, Minnesota, a small mining town where the legendary musician is listed fourth in its booklet of “famous natives.”
Other zips in the works range from a Nebraska haven for troubled kids to a mecca for shoppers, Netrepreneurs, and venture capitalists just west of Washington, D.C.
