This month visit Whitesburg, Kentucky, where punk rockers live in harmony with banjo players.
Other zips in the works range from a Rhode Island town where immigrants from Africa's Cape Verde Islands soothe homesickness with music, to Nalcrest, Florida, a community built for retired letter carriers—no dogs allowed.
