They're those corners of the world that you just can't get out of your mind. Places so special, or just plain weird, that they take on their own personalities. National Geographic scoured the United States to include just such places in its ZipUSA series.
This month visit Wilmington, Delaware, where credit card companies are the only residents in one zip code. Other zips in the works range from a place out West where the rocks bear the marks of human hands, to "the most highly visible U.S. base in the world."
